In my home city, the highest temperature in 2010 was 4 degrees (F) higher than it was in 2001. The lowest temperature was 4 degrees cooler. The annual mean temperature remained the same.2010 saw 2 more inches of precipitation than 2001.2010 had the snowiest day in the city's history.
I live in the UK and, as far as my memory serves me, I believe that the weather has shifted. I think it gets much colder in the winter and we get more sun in the early part of the year. We used to get most hot weather in the traditional summer months (June-August) but it now seems to be between March and May.
This winter has been the coldest in my memory and I can't see it improving much over the next few years (I have nothing to base this on, just a hunch).
The extremes have become more extreme in my area. We've had higher than usual highs, and more snow than we've ever had in my lifetime.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
