Those pages were built by and maintained by Mahalo employees, they are also a really good example of how many hits/money a great page can earn.
I figure there are a certain core pages which they want to make a good impression on so that the site continues to be used. So higher profile pages are probably managed in house. At least thats my guess.
Still if you do the math you don't need a top rated page. You really only need 20 moderately rated pages to make that kind of money a year. Still that's a LOT of work.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
