I haven't done this but when I saw this question I thought how ironic. Just a few weeks ago I was talking to man whose Uncle had done a DNA study to find the family name they have gone by for over 1/2 a century is indeed wrong.
I haven't but I want to. The cost is what is stopping me. I think a DNA profile is extremely interesting and I learned a bit about them in a biological anthropology class.
I know that I am a "mut," I'm all sorts of Caucasian, and Black (Maybe Haitian? I don't know) but it would be really great to know the percentages and to see if there is anything I didn't know (which I'm betting on). Especially since I seem to have a lot of recessive genes.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
