Much depends on where you were (what state you were in) when you were stopped, and charged with speeding, and driving without a license. The vehicle you were driving was impounded, because you had no license to drive it. You will be charged fees for towing, and a daily fee for storage of the vehicle on the impound lot.

So, it's smart to get the vehicle out of impound, as soon as possible. You'll just need to take a licensed driver with you to get it, because they will not let you drive it away, since you're not licensed. If the speeding ticket did not include the amount of the fine for speeding, it's because you have to appear in Court, for a Judge to determine your punishment.

Driving without a license almost always means the state will deny you a driver's license for anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. I'm assuming by "permit" you mean a learner's permit. You can forget about that.

It'll be rescinded, and you won't be able to get another one until you've paid off all the fines and passed the amount of time the Judge says you can't drive. Basically, you really screwed up.
