Have you ever had an experience in which you suddenly stopped and felt that you had already?

Absolutely! All the time. I read some where that when this happens to you it means that your life is on the right track.

I thought that was an interesting way of thinking about it. It's a strong feeling of "being and feeling there. " It is kind of eerie, yet, for me, quite peaceful though.Thanks.

I had this moment when I was on the pope funeral. There was magic in the air. This moment started when I was on the Saint Peter plaza and I heard choir.

I was after the tiring journey and I simply start crying without reason. I felt the beauty.

I've had these moments innumerable times where I'm into middle of something something and I stop and am like"Wait, I've seen this happening before" I've never really understood wat to make out of it...

I have experienced this deja vu many many times.

Deja Vous is very common in my case. I get it a lot during dreams that I only remember having until it's already happened.

Yes, a few times, and I've met people for the first time and felt like I already know them. I felt like i'd known one person forever, and they looked like they had got the same feeling as well. We were always very nice to each other.

They even looked not very different from me physically. It was quite strange.

Way too often. It's usually for piddly stuff, as well, like seeing a newly-furnished bathroom again for the first time. Stupid deja vu.

De ja vu.... happens to me all the time. I dream about random things, like walking through a forest and finding change on top of a stump, conversations with a friend, etc - and sometimes these dreams manifest in real life. As the events are unfolding I remember the dreams.

A bit freaky.

Yes. Often. Your soul does not know the bounds of time, so it is eternal.

When you sleep or go into a deep meditative state you access your subconcious mind which is more closely connected to your soul.

Happened with me many times... Sometimes, I felt like I felt the same moment on my last moment also....It was a confusing situation and therefore, I decided to ignore any such occurrences.

Yes, there was a place in London, a certain street, a definite corner, the same people would be there and they would say the same thing. I thought this was called Deja vue. It happens also when I meet certain people for the first time.

They seem extremely familiar to me, and I am comfortable beyond the norm with them, when I am a naturally reserved person. Since the spirit never dies, is it possible that the spirit recognizes the places, people that it has met before? I believe there are no coincidences in life, everything happens for a reason, but what the Deja vue happenings really mean is a mystery. In 1 Corinthians 13:12 it says, 'For now we see through a glass darkly; but then face to face; now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

I always experience this when I overwork or when too much stress builds up. Take the last exam I sat for as an example. I was so worried that I couldn't remember enough that I fell asleep without knowing and dreamt about studying. In the dream I was reading what I had read a few hours ago.

I woke up immediately after that.

I dream I won a local lottery and got the number but did not bought a ticket. When the draw comes to close, my number in a dream was picked-up. I have the same feeling except I'll be richer if I bet.

Deja vu, story of my life. Check out this hub, not sure whos it is but its well written hubpages.com/hub/The-Deja-Vu-Phenomenon.

Yes... im going through it right now... it feels exactly like before.

I don't exactly know the answer to your question....i.e. Why it happens.......but then even I used to ponder over whether it happens only wid me or every one else......so I askd my frnz and well ya its quite natural and at tyms happens wid everyone.........:).

I have one of those moment at least 5 times a week. Some tell me it's because I have psychic powers ( I hope they're wrong), others say it's memories of my previous life ( don't think so). I really don't know how to explain it.

Sometimes I also see places..houses or countries or a yard or a field, sometimes playgrounds, I have never visited, and I go trought some sort of tour, without really triying to, my mind just starts visiting this place...and it suddently stops.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
