Have you ever had one of those days/weeks?

I've got about 4 in my Inbox right now and just can't get motivated to answer them. Short answers I can handle with no problem, but lengthy ones - forget it! What do you do to overcome this problem - assuming you've ever had it?

You are doing great! My husband's research generates questions from people from all kinds of places, often asking detailed questions. I think we're about fifty behind right now....it's frustrating.

We just try to dig in to one or two a day, and sometimes up to four, and get them answered well and hope that an equal number don't come in that day. The only thing we can do is set aside a time and MAKE ourselves respond to another few emails. It's a self-discipline thing for us.

You only have 4! That's pretty good! Yes, I have definitely had one of those days/weeks.It is usually a sign that you have either been on the computer too much or that you are feeling upset about something that is draining your energy.

Get off the computer. Go do something that you enjoy. Call a friend.

Take a nap. Take a walk outside. All these things will help you to feel better and when you do come back to your computer you'll feel like hitting it with gusto!

Hope that helps! It sure helps me. ;) All the best, Karen Sources: School of hard knocks CounselorKaren's Recommendations Eat That Frog!

I know what you mean. This happens to me from time to time. It just seems like the effort to answer is too much.

I don't even want to think about taking the time and effort to answer. I also tend to think that it won't be appreciated if I do. I'll let this go on for a few days.

I'll play on Askville instead (lol! ) but eventually I just pull myself together and force myself to do it. When I've completed the first one I find the others are much easier.

I haven't overcome it yet,but I'm working on it! I often have the problem of letting e-mails pile up. I sometimes feel like its just another chore to do.It is like you said in your question, I just don’t feel "moved" to answer them.

Just the other day I was ignoring an e-mail from my mother while I was on askville and I had a guilty moment. I asked myself why was I answering questions from strangers when I could not answer my mothers simple question about how I was doing. So I stopped askvilling(if thats a real word? )and sent her a real short reply.

I think that maybe we feel the need to make responses lengthy when maybe just responding to the e-mail might be enough. I am going to try to make it a habit to answer my e-mails before I allow myself to play on askville. Wish me luck!

I've got about 30. The weather is supposed to suck this weekend so maybe I'll just hole up and wade through it. :) JBENZ's Recommendations Internet E-Mail for Dummies Amazon List Price: $24.99 Used from: $2.73 Average Customer Rating: 4.5 out of 5 (based on 2 reviews) .

I am 22 weeks and my belly button hurts its been 2 days since I felt her move should I worry.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
