Have you ever intentionally scared someone else really bad? Has anyone else ever scared you, intentionally, really bad?

Once, when I was about 11, and my brother about 8, my parents left me at home in charge for a few hours while they visited a friend in the hospital. I just kind of moved into action. First, I made the phone in the house ring from the phone in my parents' room.

My brother answered the phone in the kitchen. I explained to him I had gone with my mom and dad to make the hospital visit, and would be home in an hour or so. Then, I ran down to den on bottom (basement) floor.

My bro was in kitchen, on middle floor, making a sandwich. As he came down stairs w/ his tray of sandwich and milk, I suddenly turned tv off. He stopped, but then continued. Then, I closed the drapes -- they were real loud -- and they made room real dark.

He went right up stairs real fast and never got into room. Then he ran upstairs and got under MY bed. On my way up, I saw my dad's shoes beside stairs, and put them on.

I marched up stairs in shoes. Went and stood beside bed. Suddenly, heard my bro gasp!

Wow, scared your poor little bro! I had a friend when I was in high school, and I was babysitting one night and I gave her the phone number to call me there. She had a guy friend of hers, call me and prank me.

Then it turned really scary as he said he could see me and knew I was watching children, etc.... When I finally found out it was her, I was so mad at her.

Yes. My daughters. Repeatedly.

They hate it now, but they had much fun with that when they were little. And, yes, they got me good sometimes, such that I'd have to get up and chase them around the house to play tickle guitar on their bellies to teach them not to do that (?) The weirdest was one evening when we had a friend from down the street (wholly unused to this sort of folderol) and we decided to play night tag. Me?

I took the portable phone and stood in the shower and began calling the house phone's own number to make it ring. The poor neighbor kid ended up in tears. Oops..

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
