I lived in Germany as a child and then as an adult. I loved Europe and hope to one day go back and visit.
Other than vacations, I never had the chance or blessing of living in another country. There is still hope.
I lived in Tonga and Samoa for a few years, and it has opened my mind to other cultures and traditions. I now live in Hawaii, which is multicultural and enjoy the diversity. My son lives in Egypt with his wife and four children.
I always look at news and articles about the places I have lived and that my children live. I think it is good to experience living in other countries than the one you are raised in. I can't imagine never tasting some of the wonderful foods that I have eaten in their native countries. It has been a fun adventure which continues to this day.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
