Sure! I can't say I have sat down and "Read" it for long periods of time, but in the odd moment I have certainly browsed through the dictionary. Often, when looking up a word, I find myself sidetracked, as I end up finding new words.

Sometimes I have even forgotten what I went there to look up in the first place! I love the English language. It is unbelievable rich.

I am often amazed and delighted at words I have found in dictionaries, words for things I never knew existed, or for concepts I knew about, but never dreamed would have their own word describing them. I have to admit that lately, more and more often, I end up using online dictionaries to find words. It is faster and easier that way, and I am often lazy.

Yes. Sometimes I just pick up the dictionary and flip through to a random page, then look at a random word. You can find some really awesome words that way.

I really do like to just scroll through the OED sometimes (or I did when I was in college and had free access) or flip through the paper dictionary. It always leads to some really great, wacky discoveries.

Not from cover to cover but........ We have a little game in our house. My husband and I have done this for years, even before we had our daughter. Every night, we get the dictionary out.

One person picks a word that no one knows the meaning of. The next day, everyone has to use that particular word in their conversations with other people at least once, more than once if possible. While looking for a word to use, we usually end up reading a lot out of the dictionary before finding a good word to use for our game.

Yes I have This is actually something that I enjoy quite a bit, to the point that my mother gave me The Superior Person's Book of Words for Christmas one year. I think that I starte this habit when I received a very nice Children's Dictionary when I was about six. It had nice color pictures, easy to understand definitions and a large appendix that included a small atlas, a picture of every country's flag and other information on world history and geography.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
