Have you found you get more traffic to your hubs when you make use of the Hubpages widget?

I have not had much luck with it yet, however my blog sites are very new.

I think most of the people come to hubpages to promote their blogs here and no one will care for promoting their hubs from their blogs. But still promoting in such a way would bring maximum traffic for the posts.

I don't think so, there is no need of this widget because if you want to promote or to increase the traffic to your hub there are many ways to do so, if you use this widget there is nothing on it about your hub it just says "HUBPAGES" so its better to use some other way to increase your hub traffic where you can show a title of your hub too. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
