There is a jazz musician named Candy Dalphur(hope I spelled her name right, there are some people on this website that get very upset over misspelled words). Anyway, she recorded a song where the sax(her instrament) and the guitar seem to talk to eachother. It is called "Lilley Was Here".

Yes I have. A small speaker was placed inside a small metal tube and mounted on the microphone or next to it. A guitar or some other instrument was played back through the tube and the musician put his mouth over the tube and used the sound produced as a artificial voice box while he mouthed the words or whatever back into the microphone.
