Strollers It would kind of defeat the purpose of a walk, as we go for the exercise! The dog sleeps most of the day while I work, so it's nice to get out in the evenings and let her stretch those well-rested legs! She pretty much drags me around the neighborhoods, as there is so much to smell and explore for her!

She would ride in a stroller a bit, but would MUCH rather walk so that she can check out any "messages" left for her on telephone poles and signs! I think the smaller "decorative" dogs are intended for those strollers...the yorkies and poodles, maybe, for owners that are tired of carrying them around but want them with them all the time. *Poppet*'s Recommendations 3 Wheel Pet Stroller .

I thought the whole reason for taking your dog for a walk (other than just to get you out from in front of the computer) is that dogs love walks. Fast walks, slow walks, circuitous walks, any kind of walk. And just like their masters, dogs get fat if they don’t exercise.

With that said, I suppose if you have an elderly dog with severe arthritis, or if you have one of those tiny things that seem to be dogs if you look closely enough and that are at risk of being stepped on or abducted by eagles, then I suppose it has a use. But overall, no, I wouldn’t walk my dog in a doggie stroller and I doubt my dogs would be interested in getting into one. They would much rather dash around sniffing at every interesting bush and hydrant that comes along rather than sit politely in some sort of conveyance.

Besides how could any self-respecting dog go for a walk without leaving his mark for other dogs to marvel over? This is what one catalog (petstreetmall.com/dog-Strollers/1504.html) says about them: "These Dog strollers are great for small dogs and cats. We also offer pet strollers for dogs up to 70 pounds.

A stroller allows you to take your favorite cat or dog out with you wherever you go. Don't worry about your dog or cat getting into trouble or a dangerous situation. Your stroller will keep your cat or pet away from larger dogs, or traffic.

Feel comfortable knowing that your dog or cat is secure and cozy in a dog stroller when you go out." Sounds to me as if these are designed for control freaks. Sources: My Opinion .

Yes they are really nice. I would use them if I went somewhere like the mall. It keeps the dog with you and out of the car.It also protects them from being fondled by not so gentle kids and unwarranted attention from strangers.

The enclosed kinds would be best. This way I can take my dog for a ride but not have to leave him in the car or break any laws about pets in the stores..

Yes.. I have seen them. Maybe. Yes I have seen them.

I would not have a problem using one if my dogs had any problem walking. My dogs are small, shih tzu's less than 20#'s. However they can all walk farther than I can, so there really isnt a point in having one of these strollter things for walking.

Have looked at using the stroller things to pull behind the bike, but have not felt comfortable enough with any of them,, was afarid of the dogs being able to escape from all of them while were were rideing. Pluse they are all large and hard to travel with. Hope that helps!

They're kind of cute... but I don't think I would want to use one. It looks a little silly. I would rather have my dog walk beside me, or I would carry him..

We just adopted a senior dachshund. We have 4 other dogs that are used to walking for about an hour every evening. We bought a stroller so that the older dog could walk until she was too tired to go on, then she rides the rest of the way.

I didn't want to have to take her home before our walk was over. So, yes I would use a stroller, but only if your pet has some sort of difficulty. Dogs need to walk!

How do I get my dog to stop biting other dogs.

What do I do when my dog is in heat and cant walk right.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
