It should be better I am no expert but I have been researching new TV's recently. I am buying a 1080p. However, you might want to closely look at the specifications of your future unit.
Some I have found that are 1080p units only accept the 1080i signal and not a 1080p from external sources. They suposably upgrade the 1080i signal to the 1080p quality. I am going with one that accepts external 1080p signals straight from the unit..
Yes and No You will only really see a difference depending on the size and viewing distance. If you're going to stay with 42'' then no, I doubt you'll see any difference at all unless you're right on top of it. However, if you're looking 52'' or up then yes, 1080p will be an improvement.
If you're going to say smaller I say save the money and skip 1080p! IF you want to upgrade size though, go with the higher resolution. Hope that helps!.
You'll only benefit from 1080p if you are no farther than 7.5 feet away from the set. Also, HDTV is broadcast in 1080i You'll only see a noticeable difference with 1080p if you sit no farther than 7.5 feet away from the TV. That's pretty darn close.
Honestly, you probably won't see a difference, if so it's going to be incredibly marginal. Also, HDTV is broadcast in 1080i (cable, satellite). So unless you watch a heck of a lot of Blu-Ray movies and sit very close to the set, you won't really be taking advantage of 1080p.So just look at the price difference and that should help you decide.
:-) Hope that helped! .
Maybe If your screen is The only difference comes when viewing moving objects; with 1080i, object detail starts to blur when the object moves. This is why most people prefer using 720p over 1080i. So if you're watching a lot of fast moving shows, like sports, you will probably notice a difference depending on your screen size.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
