A. Well the pharynx is the region at the back of the throat. There are different parts to it but it is the passage that eventually becomes the oesophagus.
Now in front of the oesophagus is the trachea (windpipe). Between the pharynx and trachea is a region called the larynx which includes the vocal cords. So during inhalation (or when we inspire!) air passes from the pharynx into the larynx, then into the trachea and down to the bronchi and lungs.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
