I had a female Doberman who woke me one night making the funniest sounds. NOw I had never seen bloat but I knew that was what she had so got dressed and rove illegally fast to an emergency vet. I was right.
She had surgery and that was when I discovered she was VonWildebrand positive. She had to have blood transfusions and spent 6 days in the ICU. She also had wobbler's and had to be euthanized 11 months later and sinceeher vet bills for the surgery and follow up care came to $11,000 it was $1000 per month.
But she was a sweet and loving girl so it was worth it.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
