I know this will sound silly, but try Avon Skin So Soft. Take a look at this article: "Sometimes it seems impossible to take some exotic material off a countertop, table or other work surface without messing up said surface. Recently we suggested Super Glue Remover to take off, well, Super Glue.

We don't know if it worked, but here is what we heard from Gerry from Charlestown, Mass. : "I used Avon's Skin So Soft to remove Super Glue from a granite countertop. It took five to 10 minutes for the oil to work but it did, perfectly.

The oil will also remove the nonslip decals from tub bottoms. " "It will clean wood, condition and polish natural wood and cut grease and dirt from kitchen cabinets. It removes chewing gum from hair, skin and most nonporous surfaces; removes glue from price tags and labels from glass, metal and plastics.

Takes off bandage tape marks on skin, cleans ink from skin, vinyl and painted surfaces. " I've used it on that sticky residue from price tags and on gum, and this article sounds promising for your problem. Sources: http://www.azstarnet.com/allheadlines/121436 .

Old English Lemon Oil I do a lot of wood working on a small lathe and also turn pens. I’m pretty sure mineral spirits should work, without hurting the finish on the table. Especially if you have used furniture polish on it regularly and a polish with bees wax would help a lot too.

In my wood working I use mineral spirits all the time for cleaning the wood before finishing. And sometimes after finishing I’ll have to use tape on it for one reason or other and it usually leaves gooey goobers behind that need cleaned off. I always use mineral spirits for that too.

Just start small. Use a little bit on a Q tip and see how that does. If mineral spirits won't work try the nail polish remover.

First try a little with a Q tip on the under side of the table or on the inside of a table leg at the top, someplace like that that’s out of sight and has the same finish as the top. See if it hurts the finish or takes the stain out. Another thing you might try is some Old English Lemon Oil.

That won’t hurt the wood, will actually be good for it. If you can get the oil to soak into the wood under the glue it should take the glue off, and not hurt the wood. But even if you have to use the acetone and it takes part of the finish off that’s pretty easy to fix.

Use a little oil stain that matches the rest of the table or some scratch cover. Then some good polish with bees wax or carnauba wax in it and you should be good. I would try the Old English Lemon Oil first.

If that doesn’t work then I’d try the mineral spirits. Then acetone if that didn’t work. If that doesn’t get it see if there’s a 800 number on the glue that you can call and ask them.

They should know of something that will work. Sources: personal experience .

It makes a lot of difference in dealing with it. More details, please, Three.

2 Exactly what I was going to ask. Is it fabric glue? Elmers?

Gorilla? Superglue? Paste?

(I know it's not paste, but I couldn't help myself).

" "Help me stock a sewing room! " "How do I get white marks left from sweaty glasses off my dining room table?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
