Help! Im getting married fairly soon, in November, but I m still in need of a reception venue! I have about 1500 to spend on the venue.?

Most couples go alone or with whomever is helping pay for the venue.

Well, first off, you shouldn't even be asking people to be in your wedding party before you select a venue! Choosing the venue is what sets the date. You should not ask wedding party members before the date has been set (and until that date is a year or less away).

Therefore, you should not be asking your friends to participate in your wedding party without being able to tell them with 100% certainty when and where the wedding will take place. But, anyway ... no, it is not required to take the wedding party members venue-hunting with you. Nor is it necessary or wise.

You don't need an entourage of people to tag along to your appointments, they aren't required to help you plan the wedding, and it's a drag for absolutely everyone involved. The venue managers don't want a gaggle of people at every appointment, and your friends CERTAINLY do not want to do something so boring. If your parents or honor attendants/siblings have offered to go with you to look at a venue (especially if the parents are helping pay for the wedding), fine.

But, again, don't bring an entourage. One or two guests is MORE than enough. My now-husband and I went to see about five venues by ourselves.

Once we picked the one we liked, we asked his parents if they wanted to come see it when we put down the deposit. My parents were supposed to come along for a menu tasting a few months later, but the appointment ended up being canceled and they didn't see it until the wedding day. Our bridal party members also saw it for the first time on the wedding day.

My mom and sister/Maid of Honor came along to one or two bridal gown trips with me, but other than that my husband and I visited all the vendors ourselves. I actually did the flower and limo appointments on my own since he was working on those days.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
