LOL There are literally dozens of ways around it. It all depends on how good your IT people are. You didn't get this from me.

:) 1. Try to do a google search or a search from any engine for Hotmail or whatever you are looking for. Sometimes the IT people will block the sites directly but not block the links from other sites.2.

Try using an Anonymizer. Basically these websites act as a middle man so your corporate firewalls don't see you connect to myspace. You connect to the anonymizer and tell it to go to myspace and it make the connection.

The firewalls see you connect to the anonymizer and not myspace. I will say that these sites are usually blocked. But if you dig deep into a google search you might find a few that aren't blocked.

Here's a couple examples. Www.anonymizer.com somebody.net If you need these sites that bad you can even pay for software that will do it for you. reviews.cnet.com/Anonymizer_Private_Surf... Now those are the easiest and usually the most efficient.

But be warned, depending on your companies policy you could be TERMINATED for using practices to get around their imbedded security. Sources: Experience getting around proxies and firewalls. Try this This really depends on what kind of block your company has, but it works in my workplace for some sites: - Go to network-tools.com/ - Look up the IP of the domain name you are trying to access (for example, askville.amazon.com ) - no ""! - Copy-paste this IP instead of the blocked domain name in the address bar (for example, do: 25.132.154.85/askville/AnswerBuilder.do?... ) Good luck! .

Try a proxy - thezerogroup.com/command.htmhttp://2hide... url request goes through their server, bypassing the firewall restrictions. Sources: .

Btunnel.com We have the same types of filtration at school. What we always did (until they blocked most of these sites too) was use proxy-filters, basically sites that you use to cut through the filters that you have at work to access some sites. There’s one of these sites that is tunnel.com" rel="nofollow">btunnel.com" rel="nofollow">tunnel.com" rel="nofollow">btunnel.com (or nearly every other letter of the alphabet before tunnel.com), or there’s notrack.org - you can find a lot of these types of sites.

I would caution, though, against doing this at work...there’s a reason they have these sites blocked, or, if nothing else, you might put your job in jeopardy if you get caught. That said though, do what you want with the info...I use these sites at school, and I haven't had any trouble (other than losing access because so many people were using them, so the tech guys realized what was going on and reset the filters).

1 Even if someone tells you how to do this. I would think twice. When you are at work you should be working!
