I am not a 100% sure how to set the camera up for you. All I know is that we will need to open some ports on your router to allow access to the camera over the Internet that is behind your router's firewall. If you are out side the country and would want to access the camera over the Internet, usually use the IP address from your ISP plus the port no.

That your camera is using. I recommend that you contact your camera manufacturer to know what are these ports that you need to open on the router's firewall to make the camera accessible over the Internet when you are traveling. Home security systems that have a embedded DVR will allow you to connect to a DSL and have internet access. You will have to provide a security code which is provided with the DVR, but you can monitor video in real time with a computer or compatable smart phone.
