I am becoming a freshmen as well and I am just personally so organized when it comes to the new school year. I keep this mini notebook to make goals and my routines for school. I would wake up at least an hour and a half before going to school and if You have to wash your hair in the morning then you can set another half hour to take a shower.
I have two weeks till school and what I did and suggest for you to do is to make a list of what you are going to wear on the first week. I have uniform so I kind of have to make that list due to the strict policy, but in my school I just have to wear polos, but I like to make my outfit unique adding jewelry or a nice sweater. Another great tip is to write down everything you need to get ready before the next day like at night time so that your mourning will be easy such as preparing you clothes, alarm, shoes, showering, things to buy such as clothes, and getting you nails or hair styled.
Another thing that I suggest is to write down all of the things you must buy before school like backpack, school supplies shoes, clother and other stuff like makeup if you wear any. I am a girl who is just so nervous about high school so I just looked up videos on YouTube about freshmen advice and there is tons of great tips. Things that I learned is: Be yourself.(This is important because you want to make friends) Be organized Be nice and friendly Education first.
Keep clean Shower daily Make a great first impression Do your homework Keep an agenda to write down any homework Have self confidence Avoid bad friends Do not wear too much makeup Get a good night sleep and do not stress too much For hairstyles, you should search it up on YouTube as well as DIYs. Wear a hairstyle that is the opposite if what you usually wear. Ex) Straight hair- Try using mousse or curling your hair with iron.
Curly hair- Try a keratin treatment, google it, or straighten your hair yourself. As for shoes, I know that some schools allow sandals and some don't but you should consider purchasing sandals to make you look mature for your age and to add style if you are allowed. Also make sure to wash your face daily twice with the right cleanser and moisurizer.
You can also purchase a face mask to help heal acne in a faster time before school starts. To get best results, use oil-free,fragrance-free,and non-comedogenic cleanser as well as for makeup to insure that your face does not worsen over time.
Take a shower, AND WASH YOUR FACE! Twice a day everyday wash your face! Some days have straight hair, others days have curly hair, have ponytails, buns, braid, side ponytail, or just let your hair be!
Then do your hair rotune and stuff. Then put on face prefecture, some BB cream and a LIGHT FOUNDATION! All on face by a plush face brush.
Then put some sparkles (NOT a whole lot!) with a brush of mascara. Add a bit of chapstick and your ready! Don't wear a lot of make-up or your hair ALWAYS nice because then you'll always feel like you need to do that!
Thats the thing I wished, not cared so much on how I looked. And even to this day it takes a lot of work and time to tell myself I don't need to curl my hair or spend all day putting make-up on. Wear what you want!
A tip, if the shirt doesn't cover HALF OF YOUR BUTT the LEGGINGS is not CLOTHING. Shirt has to cover at least half of butt, nobody want to see your crotch! Lol.
Also wear what you want, be comfy or some days be edgy. If you don't think you break out a lot or whatever flaws on face, don't wear coverup! Only wear it if you think you NEED it.
Then just some mascara and bit of sparkles is good enough. Best thing you can wear is a smile and confidence! Also my motto is ' You never get all three!' From make-up, hair, and clothing, one of them isn't as nice as the other 2.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
