Horde! No question about it! :)) For years I played with this faction and never had a character on the Alliance.
And I have over 20 characters leveled to max. First of all the Horde has the best team-play in WoW. This is a true fact and every World of Warcraft player knows it. If they don’t admit it it’s because they play with Alliance thinking that they are on the good side.
But best raids and pvp battles are on the Horde side. I have a friend who switched to Alliance on the same server with my main character and they attacked Ogrimmar one night. All of them died before they can even reach Thrall, that’s because on the Alliance is ''every man for himself''.
There is no team play while the Horde will kick you from any party if you play for yourself. And you find yourself without any friends. What do you do then?
You move to Alliance. If we also mention that Arthas was a human and let’s not forget they came to Thrall when they needed help…HA! No way!
For the Horde! http://www.flickr.com/photos/44399808@N07/4517314311.
When I first started WOW, I went with horde, was an undead mage, then made an alliance character a nightelf priest, then switched back to horde. When I cam back I had a lot of people I knew who were playing so I made an alliance character so that I could play with them. We all leveled up to eighty, then decided to give a new realm and a new character a chance.
This is when we chose to be horde. We just all got a little tired of doing the same thing over and over, so switching over to horde was a little bit of a challenge and made it more fun! I play on a pvp server, so we can battle players from other factions, but keep to our quests and fun!
I do have to say that I love the way the horde areas look a little bit more and some of the quests are a bit more fun!
I'll play either, but I really like the Horde. The Undercity is awesome, Orgrimmar is Awesome, the Thunder Bluff is cool. The blood elf city is a little weird but whatever.
Also I like anti-heroes and the Horde seems to fill that role in my mind. And one more thought, the Undead are Awesome because of their metal style dancing.
I've played both sides pretty extensively. I started with a Gnome Mage, after which I played a Undead Priest. I switched back to my Gnome Mage for Burning Crusade, who has been my "main" ever since.
I also have a Tauren Hunter I play with my sister. I don't have much of preference between factions, perhaps a slight Alliance tilt since I generally like playing as the "good guys", but really I like to mix it up to keep things interesting.
When I first started playing I went with Alliance as that was where the friends that invited me played. Then I went onto another server and made a horde just to see if I liked it better. The people were more helpful and friendlier on the Horde server.
That was before you could have both alliance and Horde on the same server. I am now on a completely new server and so I am tempted to make an alliance character just to check and see if they are any more or less friendly. The cities are more fun and complex on the Horde side if you ask me.
The quests are similar and I have found it very easy to learn the horde areas. My only problem is running up to the wrong bird in a new place, then the Alliance comes and kills me for running up to them. Other than that little problem I am loving the Horde side.
Strangely, on most games that allow good/evil choices, I tend to choose the 'lawful good' path. However, with World of Warcraft, I tend to choose the Horde side. I like the Orcs and Tauren, and also the Trolls have a nice story-line.
The Tauren have nice main cities, which are situated high in the air. I've played Undead too, and even though they are pretty weak, their storyline is quite good also. From the Alliance, I like the storyline of the Draenei best, crashing from the sky into Kalimdor.. Still, the mighty Tauren are still my favorite, mainly because of their physical appearance..
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
