It is not too late to turn it around. College entrance representatives look for trends. A guy who got Bs and Cs freshman year, but ended up with straight As Senior years is a good thing.
Besides, they also put a lot of weight on your SAT or ACT scores. One suggestion: Drop the Honors and Advanced classes if you can not get an A or B in those. If you take the regular ones, you will have a better chance of acing the course.
A "B" in regular Geometry or regular English looks a lot better than a "D" in advanced or Honors classes. Also make sure that your academic record shows a challenge. Admissions reps look for seniors that took all easy courses and look less favorably on those.
If you take even regular math all four years and get a B or better, that is superior to a guy who only too two years of math and got one A and one B.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
