Sorry for your loss :( I would try to email expedia and continue calling them. I would also contact your bank or credit card and explain to them what's going on and how you have tried contacting expedia. Maybe send them a copy if the email you sent to expedia.

If you didn't purchase the optional travel insurance that would cover you in such an instance, you may have just lost $1000. You need to call, be patient, and stay on the line and explain to them what has happened and pray that you get a sympathetic ear. They may be able to give you a partial credit but this is exactly why they push the insurance which is literally pennies on the dollar compared to what you are probably going to lose.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
