Pretzel--one of the Hounds of Askerville! This is a photo album of my baby, Pretzel. She’s a schnauzer mixed with?(maybe beagle), and is about 8.

She still seems like a puppy, though! This is when she was REALLY a puppy and with my first digital camera! She won the "cutest dog" contest and we bought her some doggie ice cream treats with the prize money!

She plays "old Saint Nick" at Christmas time...! She’s a hard-working dog and does like her naps on the couch...not too ladylike, on her back, of course. (She doesn’t really know she is a dog! ) Pretzel with her brother, Taz (they are very worried about a stray cat on our front porch) One of my favorite photos with both of my girls!

Pretzel and her sister! Isn’t she the cutest thing! We love her a lot!

Ziggy and his iPod . . .

Naturally the health and happiness of our pets is paramount. As you can see in the photo below: Ziggy is experiencing a moment of ZEN before he has to go to work. This day, he had chosen Andres Segovia - performing J.S.Bach Gavotte 1 & 2 (Cello suite VI) Avian hygeine is also extremely important.

Here we have Esmeralda brushing his beakth. I mean teeth .. .. .(Whatever .. . ) And here is a smile to melt your heart.(Virgil) Sources: Fur and Feathers!

My sweet little girl Gabby is my baby...I've had her since she was 5 weeks old and now she’s 4 years old. She will be 5 years old this coming Halloween! She’s growing up so fast!

It’s hard to believe that she was once small enough to fit in my arms like a baby. I used to wrap her in blankets and take her on car rides and took her with me to class one time because she was so little! Unfortunately, our computer that I had all her pictures on suddenly died and so I only have a few pictures of her from the last few years.

She's still my baby, though! She knows she's special and she's very spoiled. She's got her own room, a huge backyard and TONS of toys that she's collected over the years. In the winter time, she's got a blanket that we spread out on the back porch across one of the chairs and she curls up in the chair on her blanket and sleeps the day away.

The neighborhood has changed a small bit since I got her and she's become "friends" with Mugsy, an elderly Boston Terrier. He doesn't act his age and will run to the fence barking and then take off down the fenceline, ensuing a chase of sorts, her on the inside and him on the out. When I brought Gabby home, we also had a cat named Isabella, and another dog--a Samoyed named Joy.

Both have since passed away. She is an only child, but I hope to one day change that and bring home another dog for her to play with. For those interested, she's a Black Lab/Rottweiller mix.

My mom calls her a designer dog--ONE OF A KIND! Now you have all met my sweet little girl. I am anxious to meet yours!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
