Back in the day of rotary telephones, the major metropolitan areas were given numbers that were quicker and easier to dial. 212, 213, 214, 215, and 312 (Manhattan, Los Angeles, Dallas, Philadelphia, and Chicago) are a few examples of the originals issued in 1947. Nowadays it doesn't really make a difference what the code is since we can punch in a 9 into our touchtone just as quickly as a 2.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
