Polar bears do not live in Antarctica (South Polar region), they live in the Arctic, around the North Pole. They are entirely carnivorous, unlike other bears, because there is no vegetation suitable for them to eat. They are adapted to withstand extreme cold with stocky bodies, small ears and thick fur.
