How are wildcard games determined in the nfl?

The division winners get playoff seeds 1 through 4 depending on their record. Teams 1 and 2, the Saints and Vikings in the NFC, have a bye week. The number 3 seed, Cowboys and the number 4 seed Cardinals are the other division winners.

The wild card teams are number 5 seed Packers and number 6 seed Eagles. The number 3 seed always plays the number 6 seed and the number 4 seed plays the number 5 seed.
