How can a neutron be forced to kick out a positron?

Neutron is the particle and positron is the anti particle. In short, a proton is converted into a neutron in the nucleus of an atom and a positron is produced and kicked out of that nucleus. It did not exist in there before the event.

This type of events are called Beta Decay or Beta Plus. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beta_decay Here is a reference. --quote-- Positron emission is a type of beta decay, sometimes referred to as "beta plus" (β+).

In beta plus decay, a proton is converted, via the weak force, to a neutron, a positron (also known as the "beta plus particle", the antimatter counterpart of an electron), and a neutrino. --/quote-- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Positron_emission.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
