People tend to ignore facts and science when it doesn't fit in with their world view or when it challenges their believes. They will dismiss the facts out of hand. And by the way, we are past the point of no return now,.
NASA reported in November we passed the point on November 12th I think it was. We now officially have more carbon in the air than the times of the dinosaurs at over 450ppm and climbing. Which is why the ice is melting fast at the poles.
North Pole is at 32 celcius. We also have been clear cutting forest so we don't have the forests to compensate or clear the air and so we are pretty much a doomed race unless we can get off this planet and start fresh on a new one.
Measurements show that the Earth is warmer now than a half century ago. And the RAW data shows even more warming. And measurements of radiation have directly has shown an increase over the10 years studied.
That is direct measurements of CO2 warming the planet. Not theory, direct measurements. And while the Sun has been less bright, the Globe has warmed (even without showing 2014 and 2015).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
