It's easier to work as a professional theater actor without a agent than attempting a professional screen acting career without an agent. Check out the websites of the theaters near you and see what their upcoming season is and when (and if) they are having auditions. You could start with community theater - which generally have open auditions that anyone can go to.

More professional theaters may require you to first submit a head shot and resume before inviting you to audition. You can even do internet searches on combined regional theater auditions - where you would apply to audition and, if accepted, seen by several regional theaters looking for actors for their season. As for websites - you could try Casting Workbook (www.castingworkbook.com ), I'm told they have Canadian casting calls.

But you can't just expect to be "discovered" by some talent agent and then given a career. It's show business. You (or your parents if you're a minor) need to understand the business end of the industry.

You should research so you understand the casting process, actor unions, industry contract, legal requirements and things like that. Maybe your uncle could help you with some resources to learn more about the industry.
