Write a good story. REWRITE IT till all the technical issues are cleared up Rewrite again to make sure everything is 100% up to publication worthy as a submitted manuscript. Go through your library's back issues of Writers Digest, the February and June issues cover agents and publishers.

Go through the library's copy of Writers Market 2016 to see who to submit your manuscript to (and follow their rules). Don't submit to publishers who don't buy the genre you're writing in. The Writers Market is in the reference section of the library.

Get a copy of "Writer's Market". It explains the whole process of getting published.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
