How can I get my cat to stop stabbing and pouncing my feet in my sleep?

Jack and Damian go to sleep with me every night but somewhere in the wee hours of morning Jack gets lots of energy. I know this is completely normal for kitties, however he has sharp needle nails and I wake up with sore bloody feet. I am against declawing and yes I do trim his nails but is there a way to teach him to stop?

Cats just LOVE to play "monsters under the cover" Mine do that also, He'll kinda grow out of it as he gets older, my 2 youngsters were 8 weeks old when I adopted the, and we played monsters under the covers every night before going to sleep. I would just try to wear them out, they both play fetch so I'd toss things out the bedroom door, down the hall and they'd chase it, come running back jump back up on the bed and I'd throw the toy again. Once they were pooped out, they'd just curl up and URL1 maybe just play with him a lot before bed and poop him out I'm very happy to hear you are against declawing, I HATE that practice.

Kevlar blankets, maybe. And every time it does that grab it and kiss it on the face. That's about the most effective deterrent I have found.

Get a thicker blanket/quilt. Wear socks to bed. Kittens grow up...will play less.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
