How can I hide user_id from URL using yii framework?

If each user has a unique username, you can describe a route that doesn't show their user id by putting this custom routing rule in config/main.

I think it's better to encrypt your id before passing it. And decrypt it when you reach there. There are many ways of generating such random/encrpted ids.

For more security you should not give name like 'user', that you did. Try to modify that even. Hope you got the point...:).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
