How can I install microsoft office 2003 (purchased after 60 day) onto another computer?

I work in a two person office. My boss is not computer savvy and there is no one on staff who is. I am sort of "it.

" two years ago they purchased a pc and purchased a microsoft office 2003 teacher and student edition disc after 60 day trial expired. As best I can tell, they were given a key code at the time of purchase, which, when entered, must have taken them to a final website for registration. If there was a final keycode issued at that time, it was not recorded anywhere that I can find.

We recently purchased a second computer for the office. I want to load 2003 onto this new computer instead of suggesting a purchase of microsoft office student and teacher 2007 disc. I cannot see anyway to do it, and microsoft's website is not really all that helpful.

Anyone out there have any ideas? Asked by dancingsun 42 months ago Similar questions: install microsoft office 2003 purchased 60 day computer Computers > Software.

You can get... the Office Product key by simply downloading and running this program. SIW is an advanced System Information for Windows tool that gathers detailed information about your system properties and settings and displays it in an extremely comprehensible manner. Download ands run SIW.

On the left is this: Click on Operating System and it will give you a window full of the information which includes the Product Key. You can then use that key to reinstall the software. Go here to get it, oh AND ITS FREE and does a lot of other things, like show you your passwords.. If you don't have the MS Office 2003 Disks, you can DL them by searching in Google for "MS Office 2003 Torrent" : That way you have the MS Office 2003 Disks, and a valid, legal Product Key.

Hope this helps, if you need any further help, just ask.... Sources: http://www.gtopala.com/ .

OK, everything you're suggesting is illegal... You are only licensed to have a single purchased copy of an OS on a single computer at a time. You're only allowed to use the teacher/student version if yu're actually taking a class at a school, and for only that time period. Go out and buy a new full version of the OS..

Maybe You have a few options. 1. Buy another seat to Office 2003.2.Re a tech to transfer the data from you hard drive to the new comfuser.

3. Buy a hard drive and put it in the old machine. Copy Drive C: to the new hard drive.

Remove the new hard drive and install it into the new comfuser.4. Google "office 2003 key" and "borrow" a key that will let you install 2003.5.Use "Open Office" which is free, and forget 2003.

I suggest you give openoffice a try. It's better than MS Office anyway, it is opensource, it is free and it is even largely MSoffice compatible. download.openoffice.org/index.htmlno more hassle with attempted shotgun copyright enforcement attacks from BillyThey just inactivated my (legal!) installation of old office2003, which I only have been using to check the output of my openoffice-files in Billy's format for colleagues who are still held hostage by microsoft and cannot read decent free file-formats.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
