Hmmm.. You probably can't. (Unless you want to buy a faster computer ..that might do it. Not really a financially-practical decision tho.
) ;) I was thinking of trying those pages in Firefox coz I was finding they bog down in Google Chrome. (well, Chromium daily-build for me. ) Actually, I find they work much faster in Firefox than in Chrome, so maybe Firefox is the way to do it.
Possibly Apple's Safari might display them faster. I found it to be about as fast as Firefox, maybe a little faster with this YouTube laden Mahalo thread: http://tinyurl.com/6pg2om ..so I think it's worth you trying it. If you can't get better results with any of those browsers, probably Firefox is the one to stick with.
Edit: There is an extension for Firefox called "TubeStop" which stops the auto-play of YouTube videos. I think that could be just what you are after. :) Get it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6648.
Adblock plus might help. Https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865.
Install the Flashblock addon for Firefox. Https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/433 It blocks all flash applets and replaces then with an "F" icon that you can click if you choose to the load the content. You can then choose to view only the videos you want, or at least load them one at a time so it doesn't bog down your system.
Install flashblock and click on the clip that you want to see. Https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/433.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
