How can I move my wordpress blog from godaddy to hostgator?

Godaddy file backup is limited to 20 M. And I think you will need more than that to establish the process! I will try to help you.. so plz follow me as there is 2 ways to do it: if you need to Fully Backup your website Code and database: For the database backup it's much easier thing to use your phpMyAdmin from Godaddy control panel, just try to to do this step before anything else!

The other way will take more work, it's to backup database as mentioned above, but this time forget about the old code, you can setup a new fresh installation of wordpress on yoru new hostgator server and then FTP only your theme files and plugins directory!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
