How can I prolong the life of my nail polish to save money?

You use them a couple of times, then they seem to go all gloopy. There are a couple of things you can try, first of all, keep them cool, but not in the fridge it is too cold and may make the varnish thick anyway. Buy a bottle of clear nail varnish and pour some in, then shake it gently.

The clear varnish will be very runny and should help make the colored varnish thinner without changing the color. If all else fails before you throw it out, try placing the unopened bottle in near boiling water for a few minutes, then shake it gently, this may help. Unfortunately there are no guaranteed ways of dealing with this problem.

Don't be tempted to dilute thick nail varnish with nail varnish remover, it looks like it will work, but when you apply it, it doesn't go on right and dries without much shine.
