I can get my security cam to work in Linux, because it has a web interface. Just navigate to the correct IP address on your local LAN. Youy will be able to see that by logging into your router.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
