How can I stop Adobe Album Starter from popping up every time my flash drive is connected to a computer?

I have pictures on my flash drive, and every time it is connected on most computers I've used it on, Adobe Album Starter pops up, showing my pictures to whoever's looking. I let someone at school borrow my flash drive a few times just to transfer documents from a computer where the printer doesn't work to one where she can print. I don't want the computer to show all my pictures to whoever's using the flash drive.

They should be able to just save and open their specific documents and not look at mine. Under Properties, I selected "Prompt me each time to choose an action," but it still opens the folder for my flash drive's contents and Adobe Album Starter opens, showing my pictures. How can I stop these from opening except when I select them?

I don't really care as much if the folder opens, but I don't want Adobe Album Starter opening. I've never even used it. I guess I could uninstall the program on my computer, but not on the ones at school, where it matters.

See inside You can kill the automatic downloader and obtain pictures manually thus: In Windows Explorer, go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Album Starter Edition\3.0\Apps and reaname the file apdproxy. Exe to something else like "apdproxy-save. Exe".

Then reboot. You can also delete the Adobe Album Starter value from this registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\ This will dissable Adobe Album Starter from automatically loading in the system tray. (if you feel comfortable editing the Windows Registry.

Edit at your own risk. ) ORGo into msconfig from the run menu, click on the startup tab, uncheck the apdproxy check box. Should do the trick.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
