If you stay with it long enough, over time these situations will start to become less stressful/embarrassing for you as you gain experience in how to deal with them. However, if things don't ever seem to get better and if even the most mundane of these situations is causing you to be stressed and anxious you may wish to consider visiting your doctor who may be able to determine whether you suffer from some sort of Social Anxiety. If you can't seem to get a handle on things, ultimately you may have to leave this field of work and find one that better suits your nature.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
