How can I surprise my boyfriend with flatscreen tv on christmas morning?

Beat him to death with it. That'd surprise him.

Burn a DVD with a fireplace loop, then set up the TV when he's sleeping. Put the crackling fire DVD in it so he wakes up on Christmas morning to a crackling fire. You can hang a stocking on the TV with the remote in it.
