How can I upload an image file to a php background script, i.e, using ajax?

Well the quick answer is you can't. You can't use AJAX to upload files. What you can do is have the target of a form be a hidden iframe and submit your form to that.It is essentially the same thing in result, but technically completely different.

Most people still use the term ajax (including my forthcoming url), but it's definitely not ajax. Here's a link with a short tutorial: coursesweb.net/ajax/upload-images.

I'd look into using a cool jQuery plugin called Uploadify. It might seem a little complicated if you don't understand all parts of the process, but the website has decent documentation/examples and overall it's a really cool plugin.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
