How can you afford two 8 year wars, a 1.23 trillion tax cut, and a 700 billion corporate bailout?

The middle class has been and is struggling. Extending the tax cuts for the middle class is not in dispute due to the current economic climate. The deficit is of concern but economic recovery is the major focus.

The middle class is the major consumer base.

The middle class is more likely to spend the money, stimulating the economy. The billionaires are more likely to just add the money to their hoard. Not to mention the tax cut for the rich is roughly 1/3 of the cost for 1/30 of the benefactors.

Something like 180000 per person as opposed to 25000 per person. I am not against letting all the cuts die.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
