How can you explain the observation that traits such as skin color are fairly consistent within a racial group but alleles for skin aren't consistent?

Skin color is influenced by many genes so several different gene pools can produce the same skin color.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
