How can you fix a front driver's side seat belt that will not retract very far on a 1998 Honda?

First inspect the belt to be sure it's not twisted or somthing is preventing it from retracting. If you are a do it yourself kind of guy you can inspect and lubricate the workings however honda has a lifetime warranty on seat belts. Check to see if your seatbelt will be covered by visiting a local dealer.

If it's a safety concern it will be replaced. I had one on my prelude replaced due to its inability to retract.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
