Extremists are human, and thereby have almost as much in common with you as they do with anyone else. The only thing that I share with Christian extremists that you don't is one box on a census survey. Otherwise, they are radically opposed to me.
Suggesting that I share some kind of common ground with them is nonsense. My church has extensive outreach and even counseling programs. Obviously because the church is not a government, we cannot force anyone's compliance with these programs though, and if people go completely off their rocker there's not much we can do about it that you can't.
So how about instead of drawing imaginary lines to further divide the peaceful and fair-minded, we work together on a solution for the troubled?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
