They all carry the same tv channels. Channels like MTV2, Discovery Family, TCM, AMC, Boomerang, Nick@Nite, TBS and TeenNick are some good choices especially late at night. Very few channels broadcast old-school stuff in the middle of the day.
Especially not during prime time. That said, Dish has a few old-school shows you can stream on-demand. But if you have high-speed internet, you'll be better off watching those old-school shows on either Hulu or Netflix.
Hulu's library is large when it comes to old-school tv shows. I for one haven't watched cable tv in like 7 years. I watch all my shows and movies on Netflix, Hulu and Funimation, News on The Young Turks, and I listen to the radio at work or in the car.
Tv (in my opinion) is garbage and hasn't been good in like 10 years. I would say, unless you're a big sports fan and you NEED the FOX and ESPN channels for that, skip cable and spend that money on a decent internet speed and a Netflix subscription and / or Hulu Plus. But to answer your question, Dish is cheaper on the most watched channels and DirecTV is cheaper if you compare their complete bundle (all channels including premium channels and streaming shows on-demand).
But that's expensive no matter which one you choose.
Both services have web pages that answer all of your questions.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
