How come the Noah's Ark extinction event doesn't show up on this chart of historical extinction events?

Each one has different reasons. Take the Koala Bear, for instance. It is going extinct because it probably should.

It is not a very well-adapted species. Being its only source of nutrition is eucalyptus trees which have such low amount of energy that the koala HAS to be lethargic and not waste too much energy, it is a wonder the koala has managed to survive this long. Of course human are encroaching upon their territory, so that doesn't help.

And yes, most all of the species going extinct have to do with man, but none have to do with global warming.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
