I doubt she thinks you're too old. More than likely, she's holding some grudge against you from when she was five years old. Unfortunately, it's her wedding, so accept the decision with grace.
There is no way to change it. Even if she changes her mind... the opportunity has been spoiled. Instead, look at it as a chore you avoided.
You don't have to be any kind of slave. You don't have to go through extra expense for a special dress or shoes or walk along side some sweaty palmed freak. You don't have to worry about what you say for the sake of staying in her wedding party or getting along with the other women in her wedding party.
You can just show up and enjoy the strained smiles of all the bridemaids on the big day. Your sis sounds like the worst bride to have to deal with honestly. You're lucky.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
