How could cell apoptosis be used to treat disease?

Apoptosis is one of the fundamental processes that could be the key to treating certain diseases. If you know that cells can commit suicide, wouldn't there be a time when you'd want to trick cells into doing so, as in the case of cancer? And maybe there's a time when you'd take dying cells and turn off apoptosis, so that the cells could become immortal and you could revitalize damaged tissues, as in your knee cartilage.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
